Toronto EMS veteran Dave Ralph named Atrus' Canadian Territory Representative 

Mr. Ralph has been involved in Public Safety and 9-1-1 Communications for the past 37 years having worked in all facets of 9-1-1 services. Dave is a former APCO-Canada President and was part of the growth of Toronto's highly-acclaimed Cardiac Safe City program.

Saving More Lives: Town of Palm Beach, FL Adds AED Location System and Launches Drive to Register AEDs

Atrus, Inc., and the Town of Palm Beach have announced a new partnership aimed at saving lives in the Town with the addition of Atrus' AED Link™ system.  This new information system will assist 9-1-1 dispatchers in helping callers locate life-saving automated external defibrillators (AEDs) available near sudden cardiac arrest victims.

Atrus develops Orange County AED Registry for Orange County, FL
To help them with a county ordinance requiring AED registrations, Atrus has designed a private label version of the National AED Registry for Orange County, Florida.

Atrus co-founder address the FDA

On December 15-16, 2010, the FDA held a public forum to discuss their "Automated External Defibrillator" initiative.  One of the items on the agenda for the meeting was the discussion of a "wish list", including a national AED registry and finding ways to possibly integrate that information into our 9-1-1 system.  Fortunately for us, they were talking about exactly what we do.  Click on the link below to view Atrus President/CEO/Co-founder Elliot Fisch's presentation on December 16.

Doctors Can't Find Nearby AED at JFK Airport

A man collapsed at JFK Airport's Terminal 4.  While a nearby doctor and dentist performed CPR and requested people call 9-1-1, they also told people to get the nearby AED.  There was none to be found.
